The 500g bag of Germain’s King Charles pipe tobacco is a blend of  the finest Virginia, Oriental and Latakia tobacco’s with no added flavours. The tobacco is named after Charles the Second who took refuge in Jersey after the English civil war. The Virginias are sweet and citrusy: the Orientals are spicy and earthy whilst the lightly added Latakia provides a wonderful smokey background. These create a complex and interesting blend which balances the notes of wood and spice with a smooth creamy citrus base perfectly.  The blend is mild to medium in terms of its strength and nicotine content with a pleasant room note. This ribbon cut mixture burns cool and smooth with absolutely no bite. One of the finest light English blends on the market making it the perfect all day smoke.

• prevent the tobacco burning hot which will impair the taste and aroma,
• cause the pipe to overheat potentially causing the dreaded tongue bite.
