The Irish Made Army pipes are one of Peterson’s earliest ranges and features a sturdy bright nickel army mount which reinforces the shank and a acrylic push style tenon on the stem. The advantages of this system are that the pipe can be easily taken apart for cleaning and that the pipe weight is much lower which makes them ideal for holding in the mouth. The Army Filter Sandblast 338 briar pipe has a dark walnut, hand stained, sandblasted bowl. This reveals the unique grain pattern of each pipe bowl. The 338 is a compact bent billiard whose half bend provides a natural clenching posture for hands free smoking.   The pipe is finished with a bright nickel military mount, a jet black acrylic stem and a fish tail mouth piece. The fishtail mouthpiece directs smoke to the back of the palate and creates a smooth and easy draw. This pipe features the rare combination of of army mount and 9mm filter which gives a cool, clean smoke.
