The Peterson 106 Newgrange Spigot bowl is selected from the finest grade briar available and midnight sandblasted to showcase the superb natural grain patterns of the briar. Hence no two pipes will ever be the same.  The pipe is a classic straight billiard design with a generous fire hole and stout insulating walls which help to keep the pipe cool.

The pipe features sterling silver spigot mounts and a Cumberland acrylic stem with fishtail mouthpiece.  A stunning and practical pipe.

Spigot Design

The design evolved on the front lines during the first world war where soldiers used spent metal casings to repair their broken pipes. The sterling spigot mounts are handcrafted from spun silver and expertly fitted by the Peterson silver smiths. Rated as some of the best silver smiths in the world watching these guys make the fitments is an unforgettable experience. Aesthetically pleasing the sterling silver mounts also strength the pipe reducing the chance of it breaking.
