Peterson 3 P’s plug is a traditional  tobacco blended from selected Virginia leaf from Africa and Brazil, and blended Burley from Malawi. The tobaccos are cased with a natural plum topping before drying and pressing. They are then heated and stored for two weeks. The result is a full bodied blend with a natural sweetness and notes of plum. A traditional smoking blend similar to the old velvan plug. Medium to full in terms of its strength and nicotine content with a wonderful room aroma.

Peterson 3 P’s plug will need to be sliced, shaved, cut into smaller pieces. The method used will determine if the tobacco is then folded or rolled like a flake or rubbed out before loading into the pipe bowl. Everyone will have their own preference.

To fully appreciate the flavour and taste we recommend that the mixture is smoked at a slow pace to prevent the tobacco burning hot which will impair the taste and aroma, cause the pipe to overheat and potentially causing the dreaded tongue bite.
