The Peterson Churchwarden Dublin Green Briar Pipe is hand stained a rich emerald green colour which shows off the natural grain patterns. It has a jet black vulcanite stem, fish tail mouth piece and a bright nickel band which helps to protect this delicate pipe. Modelled on an old old clay tavern pipe shape the Dublin has a tall and slightly canted, straight sided billiard bowl with a slightly curved stem. Perfect for cradling in the hand.

Peterson have been making churchwarden pipes since 1845 and are modelled on the old clay tavern pipes. The pipes generally have a small bowl, with a long stem and are exceptional light. These pipes came to be known as churchwardens due to their popularity with the European clergy in the 18th and 19th century. Churchwardens are a house pipe not designed for carrying around in the pocket, exceptionally light and long, the shank is strengthened by the addition of a bright nickel band to help protect this delicate pipe. The Peterson Churchwarden Dublin Green Briar Pipe bowls are hand stained a rich emerald green colour which shows off the natural grain patterns. The pipe is finished with a bright nickel mount, a jet black vulcanite stem and a fish tail mouth piece. The Peterson Churchwarden Dublin Green briar pipe has a tall and slightly canted, straight sided billiard bowl with a slightly curved stem.
