Peterson Connoisseurs Choice pipe tobacco is a blend of Virginia and black Cavendish topped with vanilla tropical fruit and rum essence. The Virginia’s natural notes of grass, spice, wood and tangy citrus blend with the molasses sweet and slightly chocolatey notes of the Black Cavendish to enhance the added vanilla, fruit and rum flavours to a different level. Broken flake is added to the ribbon cut mixture to slow the rate of burn and keep the mixture cool. The blend is mild in terms of its strength and nicotine content, complex and rewarding with a very pleasant fruit cake like room note.

Peterson Connoisseurs Choice pipe tobacco is ribbon cut and is slightly moist to the touch but should not require any additional preparation or drying before loading into the pipe bowl.

To fully appreciate the flavour and taste we recommend that the mixture is smoked at a slow pace to prevent the tobacco burning hot which will impair the taste and aroma, cause the pipe to overheat and potentially causing the dreaded tongue bite.

The tobacco is presented in a vacuum sealed 50g tin which will keep the pipe tobacco fresh for up to a year.
