The Donegal Rocky range of pipes was first launched by Petersons in 1965. The deep carved rustication of the briar pipe is inspired by the Derryveach and Aghlas mountains situated close Glenveagh National Park in County Donegal, Ireland. The Peterson Donegal Rocky 68 briar pipe has a hand rusticated bowl with a two tone red/brown stain finish. The pipe is finished with a bright nickel band stamped with the Peterson logo, a jet black vulcanite stem and fishtail mouth piece. The fishtail mouthpiece directs smoke to the back of the palate and creates a smooth and easy draw.
The Peterson Donegal Rocky 68 is a half bent pipe with a large Brandy bowl. This is the largest pipe in the series with and XL (Extra Large) bowl. The height and diameter of the bowl make it exceptionally comfortable in the hand.
