The Sherlock Holmes Hanson Rusticated briar pipe is a tall full bent bulldog which tappers to the heel, with paneled shank and elegant twin bread lines. The generous fire hole is balanced by the heavy bowl wall helping to keep the pipe bowl cool. You can comfortably wrap the hand around this elegant pipe.
The Sherlock Holmes range of pipes was initially launched in 1987 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s first Sherlock Holmes novel. The series has been developed over the years with new shapes being added. Each shape is named after a character or place associated with the novels. The Peterson Sherlock Holmes Hansom Rusticated briar pipe is a tall full bent bulldog which tappers to the heel, with paneled shank and elegant twin bread lines. The generous fire hole is balanced by the heavy bowl wall helping to keep the pipe bowl cool. You can comfortably wrap the hand around this elegant pipe.
The pipe bowl is rusticated and hand stained with a red/brown to give a two tone finish. The pipe has a jet-black vulcanite stem with P-lip and a bright hand-crafted sterling silver band stamped with a silhouette of Basil Rathbone with pipe in mouth. Each bowl is laser engraved with the name of the piece.
