Peterson Irish Mixture ( Irish Whiskey ) Pipe Tobacco is a blend of various selected Virginia, Kentucky fired, Indian cured and aromatic Thai Burley leaf with a light topping of Irish whiskey essence. The smooth slightly sweet Virginia, the nutty slightly spiced Burley provide the perfect foil for the smoky notes of the Kentucky leaf. The lightly added whiskey enhances the natural tobacco flavours of the mixture. The mixture is masterfully blended to create a complex, smooth and flavourful tobacco. This traditional Irish ready rubbed blend is a mild to medium smoke with a unique taste and room aroma.

Peterson Irish Mixture (Irish Whiskey) Pipe Tobacco is ribbon cut and is slightly moist to the touch but should not require any additional preparation or drying before loading into the pipe bowl.

To fully appreciate the flavour and taste we recommend that the mixture is smoked at a slow pace to prevent the tobacco burning hot which will impair the taste and aroma, cause the pipe to overheat and potentially causing the dreaded tongue bite.
