The Peterson Kildare 05 pipe bowl is hand stained a rich, warm brown and has a hand crafted silver band. The pipe is finished with a jet black vulcanite stem with P-Lip mouthpiece. The P-Lip directs smoke to the roof of the mouth helping to prevent the dreaded tongue bite and activates more of the flavour receptors on the palate. The Peterson Kildare 05 is a full bent pipe with a flared calabash bowl. A robust pipe the bowl wall is quite thick which helps keep it cool and it is reasonably tall which allows you to wrap your finger around the bowl comfortably.
Kildare is an Irish county which is known throughout the world for its links with horse racing. The home of the Irish National Stud Farm which has bred many of the worlds finest flat racing horses. The Kildare series of briar pipes were originally introduced as an extension to the Aran series but their classic style and presentation has elevated the series to one of Peterson’s finest series.
