Peterson Special Cut pipe tobacco is a blend of Virginia, Burley and black Cavendish topped with coconut, macadamia nut and rum essence. The Virginia’s natural notes of grass, spice, wood and tangy citrus blend with the molasses sweet and slightly chocolatey notes of the Black Cavendish to enhance the added coconut and rum flavours to a different level. The nutty, woody Burly accentuates the flavour of the macadamia nut and adds another layer of complexity to the blend.  A sweet and spicy mixture, it is mild in terms of its strength and nicotine content. Complex, sweet and spicy with a very pleasant room note.

Peterson Special Cut pipe tobacco is ribbon cut and is slightly moist to the touch but should not require any additional preparation or drying before loading into the pipe bowl.

To fully appreciate the flavour and taste we recommend that the mixture is smoked at a slow pace to prevent the tobacco burning hot which will impair the taste and aroma, cause the pipe to overheat and potentially causing the dreaded tongue bite.

The tobacco is presented in a vacuum sealed 50g tin which will keep the pipe tobacco fresh for up to a year.
