Robert McConnell Glen Piper Pipe Tobacco is a blend of Virginia, Black Cavendish, Kentucky and Perique leaf with a cocoa and rum casing. The Virginia and Black Cavendish provide a creamy smooth base which in combination with the cocoa creates subtle notes of chocolate. The Kentucky adds notes of wood and earth whilst the excellent Perique elevates the added rum with its notes of spice, plum and raisin. Rich, complex and flavourful this is Christmas pudding in a bowl. Mild to medium in terms of its strength and nicotine content with a superb aroma this is a must try for those who like their aromatics.

Robert McConnell Glen Piper Pipe Tobacco is a ribbon cut tobacco which tends to be on the moist side and will generally benefit from leaving the tin open for half an hour or so to let it dry a little.

To fully appreciate the flavour and taste we recommend that the mixture is smoked at a slow pace to prevent the tobacco burning hot which will impair the taste and aroma, cause the pipe to overheat and potentially causing the dreaded tongue bite.
