Robert McConnell Maduro Superb pipe tobacco is blended from Cavendished Virginia, Burley and Perique with a touch of Navy Rum. The cavendished Virginias provide a naturally sweet and creamy base for the blend. The premium Burley adds contrasting notes of nut, wood and earth. The Perique adds rich notes of plum, raisin and spice which enhance the flavour and aroma of the navy rum. Masterfully blended to create a perfectly balanced and harmonious mixture. Mild to medium in terms of its strength and nicotine content this is a complex and flavourful smoke with a very pleasant room aroma.

Presented in a 50g tin Robert McConnell Maduro Superb pipe tobacco is a ribbon cut tobacco which tends to be on the moist side and will generally benefit from leaving the tin open for half an hour or so to let it dry a little.

To fully appreciate the flavour and taste we recommend that the mixture is smoked at a slow pace to prevent the tobacco burning hot which will impair the taste and aroma, cause the pipe to overheat and potentially causing the dreaded tongue bite.
