Samuel Gawith Cabbies Mixture is a curly or coin cut blend of Virginia and Perique with no added flavouring. This is a twist which is hand spun and then hand sliced into coins. The dark fired Virginias form a smoky, woody base to the blend. The subtle natural flavours and sweetness of the Virginias are enhanced by the raisin, plum, date and spicy/peppery notes of the Perique. This is a full strength blend in terms of its flavour and nicotine content with a complex and consistent flavour. A smooth, rich and tasty smoke which will satisfy even the most demanding of palates.

The tobacco coins can be rubbed out, broken up or folded into the pipe bowl using whatever method is preferred by you. The mixture may benefit from a little drying time but generally this is not necessary.

To fully appreciate the flavour and taste we recommend that the mixture is smoked at a slow pace to prevent the tobacco burning hot which will impair the taste and aroma, cause the pipe to overheat and potentially causing the dreaded tongue bite.
