The Standard System pipe was Peterson’s original collection first launched in 1865 and the classic shapes provide the template for many of the pipe ranges still produced by the company. The standard system is a unique pipe with its higher draft hole, moisture reservoir, patented graduated bore mouth piece and P-lip: this is were design meets functionality to produce a wonderful smoking experience. The Peterson Standard System Ebony 305 briar pipe has a deep bend and a large bell shaped calabash bowl. The height and shape of this beautifully balance pipe ensures that it is equally comfortable whether cradled in the hand or resting in the mouth.

Perfectly balanced the Peterson Standard System Ebony 305 briar pipe has a sturdy Nickel military mount stamped with the original “K&P” logo and a high, sheen ebony bowl. The acrylic stem (which can be purchased separately) features the iconic P-Lip which directs smoke to the roof of the mouth helping to prevent the dreaded tongue bite and also activating more of the flavour receptors on the palate.
