The Standard System pipe was Petersons original collection first launched in 1865 and the classic shapes provide the template for many of the pipe ranges still produced by the company. The standard system is a unique pipe with its higher draft hole, moisture reservoir, patented graduated bore mouth piece and P-lip: this is were design meets functionality to produce a wonderful smoking experience. The Peterson XL315 Standard System Rustic briar pipe has a deep bend and an extra large bell shaped calabash bowl.

Perfectly balanced the Peterson XL315 Standard System Rustic has a sturdy Nickel military mount stamped with the original “K&P” logo, a rusticated finish, with a two tone brown/red stain and acrylic stem (which can be purchased separately). The XL315 features the iconic P-Lip which directs smoke to the roof of the mouth helping to prevent the dreaded tongue bite and also activating more of the flavour receptors on the palate. A large pipe which is perfectly balanced to ensure that it is equally comfortable whether cradled in the hand or resting in the mouth.
